Sachi’s commitment to fostering innovation and creating a better world is evident in his roles as an appointed Member of the Board of Directors and Member of the Grand Jury for the World Summit Awards (WSA) Global Venture, an initiative framed within the objectives of the United Nations (UN SDGs & UN WSIS). This UN-affiliated initiative identifies and champions the world’s premier disruptive digital technologies that create a positive societal impact. Moreover, Sachi serves as the National Expert for Australia, spearheading the World Summit Awards Australian Chapter. In this capacity, he identifies, mentors and nominates groundbreaking digital innovations from Australia with the transformative potential for societies.
Since 2015, Sachi has been a significant contributor to the WSA Global Network. As the National Expert for World Summit Awards Australia, he has maintained an impressive track record. To date, he has successfully secured 46 Australian Nominations, 28 positions on the WSA Grand Jury shortlists, 11 WSA Global Winner titles, and 6 WSA Global Champion accolades. Competing against 189 United Nations member countries, Sachi has firmly positioned Australia on the WSA global stage as a forerunner in digital innovation and societal impact.
Before co-founding i4T Global in 2017, Sachi held the position of Head Of Operations & Product Development at hSenid Software International. Throughout his decade-long association with the hSenid Group of Companies, Sachi built and led a dynamic cross-functional team of over 35 professionals, successfully delivering more than 50 large-scale IT projects across diverse sectors. These sectors spanned telecommunications, human resources, eCommerce, finance, healthcare, government services, and entertainment. His astute strategic choices and unwavering customer-centric approach ensured consistent EBITDA margins of over 25% year on year, leading to the establishment of 20 global strategic partnerships.
Sachi’s passion for mobile apps has led to the development of over 100 mobile app projects, including the co-founding of the mobile and wearable apps FlipBeatsΒ & Expense Tracker 2.0. These apps have garnered 13 local and international awards, generated significant media buzz, and achieved user satisfaction, surpassing million downloads across multiple platforms.
Before his tenure at hSenid Software International, Sachi worked as an MIS Consultant for NDB Bank , where he designed and implemented MIS and Business Intelligence software. His exceptional performance earned him the “Best Performance Award” for the year 2005 and recognition as one of the Top 25 Best Performing Employees of the NDB Banking Corporation, which boasted over 6,000 employees.
Sachi holds an MBA with Distinction from Cardiff Metropolitan University (UWIC) , UK, and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Management Information Systems (MIS) from University College Dublin (UCD), National University of Ireland (NUI).
In addition to his professional achievements, Sachi has made significant contributions to academia, lecturing in fields such as Project Management, HCI, Usability Engineering, and UI/UX at institutions affiliated with Staffordshire University, UK, and the University of Wales, UK.
